Service unavailable
Code: inference_unavailable
What you see
The sidebar shows: "The assistant service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again in a moment."
Cause
The app reached its own local agent, but the OfficeLabs service could not give an answer. This is shown when the service answered with a temporary failure (502, 503 or 504), could not be reached, the connection failed or timed out, or the selected model is not available. Your account and sign-in are not affected, and you do not need to sign in again.
What to do
- Wait a moment and send the request again.
- Check that you are online and that your network allows OfficeLabs through: see Offline.
- If the status line under the OfficeLabs name in the sidebar header reads Offline instead of Ready, the problem is on your computer instead: see Service not responding.
- If a different model was selected, switch back to the default and retry.
When to contact support
Contact support if the message persists for more than about 15 minutes while other websites work normally, or if it appears for every model.
Use the contact page on the OfficeLabs website, and include the time it first happened, your OfficeLabs version, and the newest agent-*.err.log file. See Collecting logs for support for where to find the files.
