Uninstall
From Windows Settings
- Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps (or Apps & Features on older Windows 10 builds).
- Find OfficeLabs and select Uninstall.
There is no Repair or Modify option — only uninstall.
From the Start menu
The installer also creates Start menu → OfficeLabs → Uninstall OfficeLabs, which runs the same uninstaller.
What happens during uninstall
- Any OfficeLabs process still running from the install folder (the LibreOffice app, the agent, app-backend) is stopped so the folder can be removed.
- The desktop and Start menu shortcuts are removed.
- The
.odt,.ods,.odp,.odg, and.odffile associations are released. If another program (for example a separate LibreOffice install) owned that association before you installed OfficeLabs, it's restored; otherwise the association is cleared. - The application folder (
C:\Program Files\OfficeLabsby default) is deleted, including LibreOffice, the agent, and app-backend. - You're asked: "Remove your OfficeLabs settings, sign-in and logs? (Choose No to keep them for a reinstall.)" The default answer is No.
What's left behind
If you choose No at that prompt — or run a silent uninstall (below), which skips the prompt entirely and always keeps this data — three folders survive:
| Location | What it holds |
|---|---|
%APPDATA%\OfficeLabs | Your LibreOffice user profile: theme choice and other per-user settings |
%LOCALAPPDATA%\OfficeLabs | Your sign-in / agent identity files |
%LOCALAPPDATA%\OfficeLabs-launcher | The launcher log (launch.log) and per-service logs |
Reinstalling OfficeLabs picks these back up — your settings and sign-in survive the reinstall.
To remove everything, answer Yes at the prompt, or delete those three folders yourself after uninstalling.
Silent uninstall
"C:\Program Files\OfficeLabs\uninstall.exe" /S
A silent uninstall always keeps the three folders above — there's no prompt to answer, so nothing is asked and nothing beyond the application folder is removed. Delete them manually afterward if you want a clean removal.
